Thanks Lisa, I had a look at that link you suggested to me.
I think the most interesting part of the page was the advice it gave to the 5-12 year olds. It states that
they should be doing at least 60 minutes a day of moderate and vigorous activities.
Playing our game will definitely last at least one hour to one hour and a half.
The game should start easy (moderate exercises) and get harder (vigorous activities)
So moderate exercises will include walking fast, bike riding, jogging on the spot, doing a dance!
Vigorous activities would include sporting activities, running, jumping jacks etc.
The game should consist of 6 squares x 6 squares.
A dice will be included in the game.
The square will tell the player what activity they must do in order to continue playing.
On some squares, a motivating phrase will be present.
